Adobe appoints Redington to distribute software across Africa

New distribution agreement aims to broaden access to Adobe software across African markets.

Adobe has expanded its presence in Nigeria and across Africa through a new distribution partnership with Redington. This collaboration is set to enhance access to Adobe’s creative and document management tools for businesses, governments, and educational institutions.
Under the agreement, Redington will distribute Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Document Cloud solutions across key African markets. Leveraging its extensive channel ecosystem, Redington will provide end-to-end services, including licensing, implementation, training, and ongoing technical support.
This partnership aims to lower barriers to adoption and accelerate digital transformation for organisations of all sizes throughout the continent.Adobe has been steadily growing its footprint in Africa, recognising the region's increasing demand for digital tools that drive creativity, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Its Creative Cloud suite offers industry-leading software for graphic design, video editing, web development, and photography, while Document Cloud facilitates streamlined document management, e-signatures, and workflow automation—essential capabilities in Africa’s evolving digital economy.
At the launch event in Lagos, Redington executives described the partnership as a strategic move to align global software innovation with Africa’s rapidly developing digital landscape. Sayantan Dev, Global Head of Software Solutions Group at Redington Group, emphasised that software is now central to business competitiveness.
He added that the partnership will enable organisations to adopt Adobe tools more swiftly and confidently, enhancing productivity and customer engagement.
Jim Mathew, President – Africa and Egypt at Redington Group, noted that Africa’s growth trajectory is shaped by local market realities and enterprise ambition.
He highlighted that the focus extends beyond mere technology access to delivering tangible business outcomes.
Redington plans to support adoption through comprehensive training, partner-readiness programmes, and localised support services.
Serkan Celik, CEO for Turkey, Africa, Egypt, and the CIS region at Redington Group, stated that Africa is entering a significant phase of digital expansion. He said the partnership strengthens the necessary infrastructure to support scalable growth by combining global technology expertise with a strong local presence.
