As cyber security firm Kaspersky reported 42.4 million web attacks and 95.6 million on-device attacks in Sub-Saharan Africa in the first half of 2025, In2IT Technologies, in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of e-Government, Huawei Technologies, and Forescout, will host the 2nd Annual In2IT Cybersecurity Roundtable on October 30th, 2025.

The roundtable, titled "Secure the World," will take place at Emoyeni Estate in Parktown, South Africa, and will bring together senior CIOs, technology strategists, and security specialists to discuss how collaboration and innovation can safeguard South Africa's digital future.

This year's discussions will delve into some of the most serious cybersecurity concerns confronting both the public and private sectors, ranging from ransomware, phishing, and supply chain hazards to the disruptive effects of quantum computing and IoT vulnerabilities.

Experts will discuss how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and Zero Trust architecture may revolutionise defence methods, as well as the role of leadership, talent development, and integrated policy efforts in enhancing national cyber resilience.

The seminar will also focus on how businesses may prepare for the upcoming quantum age, in which encryption and data protection systems must change to withstand next-generation threats. Thought leaders from the financial and technology sectors will talk on how combining governance, compliance, and technology can reduce risks and increase resilience.
